Viktor and Rolf exhibition coming to the NGV

I have bought tickets to the In Conversation with Viktor and Rolf at the National Gallery of Victoria. I’m so excited that the Viktor and Rolf exhibition is coming to the NGV. I love these guys. They really combine fashion and art into their Haute Couture garments, which is what I aspire to do with my Artwear.

This duo, from Holland, have a had a great career since graduating together in 1992. I wish I could really get into their minds and ask lots of detailed questions as to how there were able to do this. Maybe the In Conversation will enlighten me?

Viktor and Rolf have a lot of pieces with loads of volume and great shapes like their 2015 Wearable Art. Garments that look like paintings folded into garments, frames and all.

I’m totally in love with their 2016 Vagabond collection, as I feel it is also in line with what I do with my Wearable Art. Especially the pieces that included chambray and denim.
