I fell in love with Shibori when I began working on textile art assemblages and fashion art garments. Shibori is an ancient technique for dyeing patterns into fabric through binding, twisting and folding techniques. The tighter the fabric more it resists the dye leaving patterns in the fabric. The western Tie-Dye has originated from these techniques.

With a small set up in my art shed I am able offer small runs of fabric or garment dyeing.
