Sometimes I feel as humans were are concentrating on the things that are in front of us, but what about what is not?
Here I have explored the use of negative space. It’s what is left out that is important and forms the positives in the figure. Sometimes a negative is a positive. Negative is just a label.

The subject matter of my work comes from my interest in the human experience, expression, and the relationship between the artist and the model captured in the moment.
Constant exploring and give over letting go of expectations allowed me to develop my own unique wet-on-wet style. Allowing myself to make mistakes, I take inspiration from the model and follow musical rhythms, letting the energy of the experience bring these expressive paintings to life.
