Reclaim Thy Self Opening

In March of 2016 I held my exhibition entitled RECLAIM Thy Self, at the Portfolio gallery, and transformed the exhibition space into an immersive experience that invites the audience to experience and explore the beauty of decay, and natures ability to ‘RECLAIM’ the man made.

The opening night was a captivating symphony of music, art couture, design, textile installations and architecture, blurring the lines between what came first – man’s (or woman’s) ability to tame nature, or vice versa. Live acts on the night included a saxophonist, as well as a dynamic runway dance performance that allowed the audience to see the hidden textures of the art couture.

Thanks to everyone who contributed big or small to help realise this exhibition and opening night!  It was a real buzz and I couldn’t have hoped for a better night. The dance performance was truly captivating and exciting!
